Product Release Update: Cynet 4.26
Enhanced Security & New Features

We’re excited to announce the upcoming March release of Cynet (4.26), which continues our commitment to expanding and improving threat detection, automated response, and usability. This latest version brings enhanced security management capabilities and improved performance to our SaaS environment, with new features rolling out over the next 30 days.

This version highlights:

☑️ Email Security – Spam Filtering Policy – Distinguish and manage spam separately from malicious emails with our new Spam Filtering Policy. Choose your preferred action: tag, move, or quarantine.

☑️ CLM – Manage Sites Package and Retention – Managed Service Providers (MSPs) can proactively configure the Cynet package for each site, ensuring the right security and licensing setup. Additionally, they can set the CLM retention period per site to align with operational needs. This capability enhances license utilization and streamlines management.

☑️ MSP PSA and RMM Tool Enhancements – We’ve refined the Integrations Screen by organizing integrations into two distinct categories: “SaaS & Cloud” and “PSA/RMM”, allowing for more granular, group-specific management. This update enables MSPs to configure SaaS & Cloud integrations per customer while managing PSA/RMM ticketing at the site level within a single integration. Additionally, we’ve enhanced the ConnectWise integration, providing greater visibility and control over ticket fields.

☑️ Mobile Security Enhancements – The Cynet Mobile app has been updated with improved detection and protection capabilities. New features include the ability to identify and block non-compliant apps, on-device privacy-friendly log forensic analysis, detection of risky iOS shortcuts, PDF deep scan for malicious content, network-based web content filtering with Android local proxy, auto-reconnect for on-device VPN, and new device attestation threat detections.

☑️ XDR Alerts for All Common Firewalls  The new release supports XDR alerts across all common firewall platforms, enabling seamless security monitoring regardless of the firewall infrastructure. This expanded compatibility ensures critical security alerts are not missed, enhancing overall security posture.

[BETA Features]

☑️ Web Content Filtering We are thrilled to announce the launch of our comprehensive Web content filtering feature, a significant upgrade to the Cynet security suite! This powerful enhancement expands our already robust web threat protection capabilities, enabling organizations to implement precise, category-based policies for enhanced control over internet usage.

With this new feature, admins can establish detailed access controls, ensure compliance with regulations, and effortlessly monitor web access patterns across their entire network. All of this is seamlessly integrated within Cynet’s all-in-one platform.

☑️ Endpoint Misconfigurations Fix/Unfix  Endpoint misconfigurations can now be fixed (or undone) directly from the platform, with bulk and asynchronous capabilities.

☑️ Custom XDR Alerts Request custom XDR alert rules for your customers, implemented by our CyOps team after a thorough review and testing process.

☑️ Endpoint Management for MSPs – Managed Service Provider (MSP) admins can now manage endpoints across tenants from the Endpoint Management page. This includes filtering by site name and selecting multiple sites, providing greater control and visibility over endpoint management.
